After taking a Business Administration course with an emphasis on accounting at John Abbott College in Montreal I had a yearning for travel and adventure. I made the decision to spend some time in the military as a way of accomplishing this. I enjoyed my military time, seeing many countries and a lot of action, but I decided this was not the career I wanted. So, even though my superior officers asked me to continue and offered immediate promotion I requested and received an honourable release in 1980 and pursued a career in real estate.

After spending 30 years as a real estate agent a former client asked me to work for him doing acquisitions. Since the acquisitions were in Florida and Texas it gave me more chance to travel.

Through all these years though my passion has been writing.

I have always been told I have a vivid imagination and this is reflected in my fiction writing, however, I have also enjoyed writing of the non-fiction variety, including newsletters, magazine articles, websites and more.

For several, years, I created and wrote a newsletter for the MacDonald High School Alumni Association. I also wrote articles for the Westview Bible church.

I have been published in magazines, mostly smaller genre-based articles.

I have written many short stories, some of which were written explicitly for friends who had children and wanted a story just for their children, in which their children were part of the story. In one of these, a friend had a niece who was afraid of the Tooth Fairy. So, I wrote a story for her where her niece helps the tooth fairy save the teeth of the world. According to my friend, since reading the story her niece is no longer afraid of the Tooth Fairy.

The Charm Saga as I have come to call it consist of three books, Third Times the Charm. The Fourth Charm and The Charms together.

Lately, I have turned my talent towards adult books. My gothic horror, Blood Mansion, was published in October 2023. The company was sold to a larger publisher and they have decided to do a new release with a new cover to be released on August 13, 2024. There will also be a sequel to be released in march 2025. A Devil of a Time is currently under discussion.  Please stay tuned as I continue to write and have more works underway.
