The majority of these authors are Indie-Self Published authors. Note that this does not in any way mean they are not as talented as traditionally published authors. They just don’t get the advertising and brand recognition as say, Stephen King.
Many genres are represented here, from ChicLit/Romcom to Sci-Fi and fantasy, and the latest addition being detective/mystery

I am pleased and honored to add the talented Charly Cox to my section of Guest Authors

I have read all six books in this series, and I am anxiously awaiting the release of book seven (Three Days Gone) later this year. However, I am reviewing the fourth book in the series, The Devil’s Playground, for the simple reason that it was the first book I had read from this author. Once I finished it, I just knew I had to read the others!
Two women brutally murdered. One missing. No evidence and only two young children as potential witnesses. Detective Alyssa Wyatt has had her share of missing person and murder cases, including some that have struck close to home. But this was different. What type of deranged person could have done this and still be smart enough to leave no clues behind?
The race is on to find the missing woman and to stop this from happening again. Can Alyssa Wyatt bring her home safely and save other lives? Sorry, no spoilers here – you must read the book to find out. You will enjoy it!

I will start this review by admitting that I am not really a fan of ChicLit, nor romance. I did however want to branch out a little from my usual fare. So based on a recommendation I read this book. Although I am still not necessarily a fan of this genre, I actually enjoyed this book. The characters were believable and come to life as the story progresses. As for the tale itself, the pace is more than sufficient to keep the reader engaged and wanting to find out what happens.

Even if you are not into time travel books, this book enjoyable, and easy to follow. The main character is likeable, and yet at the same time frustrating. He is a bit of a goof, and comes off as self centered, yet he strives to do what is right, and his goofiness makes him endearing. The author is able to pull this off, as he has much experience in the type of environment that the main character lives in.
At times it sinks into the inevitable explanations of why time travel works and the things it can and can’t do, yet does so in a way that is easy to understand, or at least with a bit of humor as the main character is totally lost in the explanations, making the reader feel fine for not understanding everything.
The action is well paced, and the ending leaves you wanting more.

Not my usual type of read, but I found the characters engaging, the writing very good, and the overall story quite enjoyable. I now have the sequel to Boneyard Café titled The Seven which is not on my TBR (To be read list)

An interesting story. When I started reading this, I was a little confused at first, thinking that maybe I needed to read a previous book to understand the world this book took place in, especially since I have not read much in the way of dystopia literature. But as I continued reading, I realized that the world was being built around me as I read.
The characters became more believable, while still being outlandish, the further into the book I got. It was not long before I was completely hooked.
A dystopian world full of unusual and fascinating characters. A main character given wrong information and wrong directions. Surrounded by people that either won’t help, or will work against him. Rules that constantly change. What could go wrong? For the protagonist, everything. For the reader nothing except an entertaining time, and a period of escape from the real world.
Fully enjoyable.

Not just for fans of GameLit
I usually avoid GameLit literature but decided to give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. It did take me a while though to actually like the main character, however as the book moved along he came to grow on me. I would recommend this book even for those that usually do not read dystopian or GameLit literature.

I read over 50 books last year, but this book has to be at the top of list of my favorite reads.
Looking for a suspenseful thriller that will keep you locked into it from beginning to end? Then this is the book for you.
I had wanted something a bit different from my usual reading habit of sci-fi, fantasy and horror. I like books that have international intrigue as well as stories with a protagonist that wants to do what they think is right, but makes mistakes along the way. Protagonists that had to live through much difficulty to find out who they truly are.
This book has all this and much more. From the first page I came to like the main character, with her faults and her never quit attitude.
The action spans different places and time frames, but never leaves you confused as to what is happening, while leaving you guessing about what will happen next.
I don’t want to talk to much further and give away the story, just want to say that it came to a satisfactory and timely conclusion.
A must on your reading list. I highly recommend it.
